Gold Gradient

I'm a fan! Possible combinations for the future: red w/ gold (Chinese New Year!) & dark gray w/ gold.

New shoes

After a couple months of running in the cheapest shoes I could find in the DSW clearance section, I decided to get serious & buy a more comfortable pair of shoes. I went to Fleet Feet in San Francisco & officially got fitted for running shoes. It was a pretty nice experience -- the owner of the store was the one who actually measured my feet, watched me walk, & tied my shoelaces for me! The first pair of shoes he brought out were the Mizuno's Wave Inspire 7 & I was extremely surprised by how comfortable they were. I'm actually pretty pleased w/ the color (which includes the super neon shoelaces too!). I don't want to get too far ahead of myself for now, since I haven't taken them for a run quite yet, but I'm excited!!

My current goal? Probably to run an entire 10k race in late July.

Wishlist!

1. Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday nail polish
As a big fan of glitter, this is an obvious choice on my list. I think this would look awesome in a glitter gradient!

2. Byrd & Bell iPad Sleeve
I've been looking around for an affordable sleeve for my new iPad. This simple wool sleeve has the minimalist aesthetic I'm looking for, but I'm not so big on the $39 (includes s&h) pricetag!



3. Bridesmaids
Tickets to see this!!!! I wasn't initially sold, but after watching the trailer, it looks like it'll be a funny, raunchy chick flick!
